About The Nootka Sea Glass Jewellery Making Group Workshop:
Spend two and a half hours learning the art of working with sea glass for jewellery making & create a unique pendants and a pair of earrings from sea glass to take home with you. You will be allowed to use up to EIGHT pieces of pre-drilled sea glass and as many supporting glass or gemstone beads as you wish in both your designs. We make 1 pendant or necklace and 1 pair of earrings.
 
Full instruction from A - Z will be given to help you magically transform your design from paper into two stunning pieces of jewellery, a pair of earrings and a pendant you'll be proud to wear. See the amazing workshop feedback here
 
As with all of my courses, this will be an intimate and personable workshop with a limited number of students, allowing for lots of individual attention.
 
Suitability:
The Nootka Sea Glass workshop is suitable for those with no previous knowledge of working with sea glass in jewellery making. Please note this is a pendant and earrings making workshop ONLY.

*The best techniques of how to cleanse, buff and polish sea glass for making jewellery

*The exact tools needed to make a sea glass pendant from scratch
*How to clean, cleanse, sand, grind, buff & polish sea glass for jewellery
*How to drill sea glass safely and effectively 
*How to use design beading
*The names of relevant jewellery making equipment suppliers
*The different types of sea glass pendants & their creation techniques from flat to stacker styles
Please note: I supply pre-drilled pieces of sea glass which you are welcome to use in your creation, if you have pre-drilled pieces from home, do bring them!
There is no pressure during my workshops.
 
In this workshop we make 1 pendants or necklaces and 1 pair of earrings using up to 8 pieces of pre-drilled sea glass.
 
After you've learnt all the above, you'll be inspired to sketch out your own design on paper & choose your own sea glass pieces to drill or pieces to use from my own collection along with implementing a choice of over 140 varieties (1000 beads) in beautiful glass, gemstone and ceramic beads to include in your designs.
 
You are welcome to bring your own thermos flask for a 10-15 minute break as I don't supply beverages.
