About The Nootka Sea Glass Jewellery Making Group Workshop:
Spend two and a half hours learning the art of working with sea glass for jewellery making & create a unique pendant and a pair of earrings from sea glass to take home with you. You will be allowed to use up to 10 pieces of drilled seaglass and as many supporting glass or gemstone beads as you wish in both your designs.
 
Full instruction from A - Z will be given to help you magically transform a design into two stunning and unique pieces of jewellery you'll be proud to wear. See the amazing workshop feedback.
 
As with all of my courses, this will be an intimate and personable workshop with a limited number of students, allowing for lots of individual attention.
 
Suitability:
The Nootka Sea Glass workshop is suitable for those with no previous knowledge of working with sea glass in jewellery making. Please note this is a pendant and earrings making workshop ONLY. Due to new insurance regulations you won't be permitted to drill sea glass in this workshop.

*Techniques of how to clean, cleanse, grind buff and polish sea glass for making jewellery.

*The exact tools needed to make sea glass jewellery from scratch.
*How to drill sea glass safely and effectively
*How to use beading in your designs
*The names of relevant jewellery making equipment suppliers
*The different types of sea glass pendants & their creation techniques from flat to stacker styles
 
Please note:
I supply pre-drilled pieces of sea glass. In this workshop we make pendants or necklaces and earrings. You can use up to 9 pieces of drilled seaglass each.
 
This is a freestyle design workshop whereby you follow your own creation rather than one fixed design of A- Z. Your imagination is limitless!
 
If you have your own drilled sea glass pieces, then do feel free to bring a few pieces along.
 
You are welcome to bring your own thermos flask if you require a drink, a pen and notepad and spectacles if required. Please note, we don't stop for a lunch break.
